Akin Prairie Wildflower Walk

Join ethnobotanist and ecologist Kelly Kindscher for an immersive wildflower walk through Akin Prairie. Learn about the ecological importance of prairie plants, their traditional uses, and the species that have called this land home for over 10,000 years.

Join us from 9 to 10 a.m. for a kid-friendly activity! The guided walk will start at 10 a.m. All Ages are welcome. This is a free event with limited capacity. Our programming is only possible because of donors. Please consider supporting the Kansas Land Trust today.
